Posted October 06, 2018 07:08:16 In December 2019, the last of the wall art that had been placed along the Grand Canyon’s eastern face was removed from the canyon walls by a contractor.

It was a big blow for locals and tourists alike, as the original art had been so popular.

Since then, a number of people have taken the time to build murals on the walls.

The new art will be installed as part of the Arizona State Parks Grand Canyon Trust’s Grand Canyon Art Program.

The program aims to provide free, temporary wall art to visitors to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Grand Chute.
